# Resolve Script Beta 0.2.0-beta.8

Separate experimental Resolve Studio 21.1+ script for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Not the native Mac app and not a Windows EXE. FFmpeg/ffprobe required.

## H.265 and All-Intra are now included

Select one queue clip and an output folder, then open Settings:

- **Test H.265 on selected clip** enables H.265 Lower / Standard / Higher after a
  successful full-clip render and verification.
- **Test All-I on selected clip** separately enables H.265 All-Intra after proving
every decoded frame is both an I-frame and a key frame.

Tests verify 10-bit 4:2:2, original dimensions/rate/frame count, source timecode,
full decode and audio. Unsupported encoders fail clearly—no silent 8-bit/4:2:0
fallback. Approval lasts while this panel stays open; every later export is still
verified. Tests export the full selected clip and need time and output disk space.

The 24 fps bitrate limits are 150 / 200 / 400 / 750 Mb/s, using the native Mac
policy's FPS scaling and clamps. Measured bitrate depends on the encoder/content;
these are not guaranteed file bitrates. Custom bitrate entry is not yet included.

Fixed real Resolve selected-row handling and reset normal H.265 GOP settings
after All-I. Existing per-clip settings, queues, history, sessions, source timecode,
Timeline Builder, watch folders and separate opt-in feedback/updates remain.

## Evidence and limits

Genuine 6K R3D passed on macOS Resolve Studio 21.1: 303 frames at native rate,
HEVC 10-bit 4:2:2, source timecode and original stereo 32-bit float audio sample
equality. All-I verified every frame. This is one machine/sample, not universal
GPU support. Windows/Linux live UI/installation and GPU rendering are unvalidated.
NEV/ProRes RAW, thumbnails and watcher soak testing remain pending.

**Color limitation:** current output uses Resolve's default camera decode/project
color; tested files carry BT.709 tags. This is NOT a qualified camera-log archive
replacement for the native Mac app. Pixel/color parity is not established. Test
copies and review appearance before adopting it in your workflow.

Diagnostics and automatic updates are optional and off by default. A lost initial
feedback receipt can leave a report retrying until seven-day local expiry and
delay later reports; consent off clears unsent items. No media or raw logs uploaded.
