# Resolve Script Beta.9 — experimental

Separate Resolve Studio 21.1+ Python script for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Not the native ZR RAW Extended Mac app or a Windows EXE.

New in beta.9:

- Experimental NEV-as-R3D private-copy route with RED dispatch and log requests.
Originals stay untouched. This does not prove full IPP2 or Mac pixel parity.
- Native NEV/Nikon N-Log route, metadata cross-check and camera-timecode recovery.
- Persistent staged N-RAW Timeline Builder media that survives project reopen.
- Per-clip custom HEVC limits from 25–800 Mb/s, saved with queue settings.
- Add individual clips, clearer verified status, elapsed time and approximate ETA.
- Real folder-listener cancellation/restart/auto-export test; clearer active state.
- Safe PNG previews beside exports. Removed inline Fusion thumbnail icons after
a host crash found in testing; repaired panel rendering and closure passed.

HEVC 10-bit 4:2:2 and All-Intra ARE implemented. Each requires its own full
selected-clip qualification on your machine; approval lasts for the open panel.
Every export is verified again; All-I checks every decoded frame. Supported ProRes
choices are also available. Resolution/FPS/frame count remain source-native.
Bitrate settings are limits, not guarantees of the measured export bitrate.

Genuine 6K/4K NEVs passed on macOS Resolve 21.1, including full decoding, original
stereo 32-bit float audio and camera timecode; all 204 frames of the 4K All-I test
were I/keyframes. The retained builder project reopened with staged media online.
77 local Python tests and 7 service tests passed.

Windows/Linux live Resolve/GPU/installation/visual consistency, full Mac image/
color/IPP2 equivalence, temporal NR, direct Camera RAW/grade preview, ProRes RAW
and long unattended stress tests remain unqualified or not included.
Both experimental NEV routes need a full-size private cache copy; native N-Log
uses RED metadata import to recover timecode. Keep the entire Timeline Builder
output folder. Listening stops with the panel; no separate tray/service.

Use copies and an isolated test library. Feedback and automatic signed updates
are off by default. Close/reopen to activate a staged update. Website tester
signup is separate from diagnostic consent. Native Mac downloads remain separate.
